Tell us about your journey: My first love was writing so I moved to New York after college to pursue my dream of writing for the big title magazines. Unfortunately, I didn't love the corporate world as much. During business flights, I would pass the time by sketching storefront designs and dream of opening my own shop one day. At 25 I left corporate America and took as many odd jobs as I could to learn every aspect of the furniture, art, and auction business. As a hobby, I enjoyed being a dealer and having a booth at various shops. When the opportunity to open my shop presented itself, with a nudge from my husband, I took the leap.

What's your favorite part of your day? Every day when I drive to work I am reminded how blessed I am to be doing exactly what I love to do. Every day is a privilege to pursue this dream.

When do you feel most successful? When I can provide others with a job they love. There is nothing worse than being unhappy at work.

What do you do to recharge when you’re feeling drained? Exercise is key but I am a firm believer in taking mini trips for a recharge. We all need a change of scenery from time-to-time to be at our best.

What do you know today that you wish you would have known when you first got started as an entrepreneur? To be confident out of the gate. If I had run my business year 1 with the confidence I have at year 3 we would have seen growth so much faster. Confidence comes with time so the saying fake it till you make it rings true for me.

How do you optimize your day? I have an awesome team. Delegating is the only way to juggle it all.

Who is the person/people who allowed you to imagine more? My husband is my biggest cheerleader. He sees and encourages my potential which is not always so obvious to me.

What does imagining more mean to you and your story? Allowing myself to not only imagine but truly believe in the potential of making bigger dreams come true.

If you could do more of one thing every day what would it be? Write. I would love to get back to writing.

Favorite social media platform? Does Pinterest count? I'm not a huge social media person but I try to keep up.
